Finance

The Finance Officer is responsible for recording and reporting the financial activities of the Town. All transactions must be verified for compliance with the annual budget ordinance, NC General Statutes, generally accepted accounting principles, regulatory agency pronouncements, and any policies adopted by the Town. The Town’s Finance Officer is also responsible for payroll, accounts payable and receivable, purchasing, cash flow and investments.

Bonnie Swain serves as the Town’s finance & human resources director responsible for all financial records, reconciliation of accounts, payroll services, and personnel issues.
