Planning Board will meet on April 17, 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Southern Shores Planning Board will meet on April 17, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. in the Pitts Center located at 5377 N. Virginia Dare Trl. The purpose of the meeting is for the Board to consider ZTA-23-03, a Zoning Text Amendment application submitted by the Town of Southern Shores to amend Town Code Sections 36-57, 36-202(d)(2), 36-203(d)(2), 36-204(d)(2), 36-205(d)(2), and 36-206(d)(2) to clarify the Town’s current lot width requirements. The Board may also continue discussion of potential commercial design standards and additional requirements for accessory structures that contain living space.
