CURRENT PURCHASE PRICE:
- $500 FOR TOWN PROPERTY OWNERS
- $2,000 FOR NON-PROPERTY OWNERS
The Town sells and maintains the cemetery for public burial. The Town does not place markers or open grave sites. The funeral home or monument company of your choice will manage all arrangements for you.
On the cemetery map with available lots and burial list below, Green indicates the lots available, Red represents walking paths and unsaleable lots. Grave sites are 4’x10’. Please correspond the burial list with the headstone to select a lot number. This map can be printed for you upon request if needed.
Once a lot/s is selected let us know. Public Works will flag the selected lot(s) as soon as possible. When we have your visual approval of the flagged lots, and your payment is received, a Deed will be issued and a copy will be forwarded to you. Please note your mailing address and phone number with any correspondence.
Once a burial is required, your chosen funeral home is required to contact us via email with the selected lot number for interment. We only sell and maintain the cemetery and do not place markers or open grave sites. The funeral home and or monument company of your choice will manage all arrangements for you.
The number of lots you decide to purchase is entirely up to you within the maximum purchase of 4 by any one family member. Multiple burials may be interred in a single lot; 1 casket and multiple cremains or multiple cremains. The only issue would be the marker placements. Some choose to place multiple names on a single stone. The local monument companies are familiar with our Ordinance attached below (reference items 6-12).
